Gear of War, the upcoming novel, Gears of War-The Pendulum Wars-The Battle of Aspho Fields would be love by those who are looking for a more in depth look at the universe of the acclaimed tactical shooter.
Written by Steven L. Kent, who is known for his many sci-fi novels and strategy guides, this book would be published by Del Rey Books with 352 action packed pages and is due to come out on February 26, 2008.
This Battle of Aspho Fields took place before the video-game’s storyline, during the Locust-Human war, where the main character Marcus Fenix is playing as a hero.
Hopefully this doesn’t mean there are questions are posed in the next game in the series, like why was Marcus in jail. That was the only reason that made me not so satisfied at the end of Gears of War, not being able to fully understand what I was fighting against and why.

If you want to have a free PS3 and have the cash and want to give yourself a really nice present for this holiday, you might think about Sony’s latest promotion.
To further promote this already successful line of HDTVs, Sony has come up with some very interesting ideas. It has free PS3 for customers. Unfortunately, as you might suspect, the process might not as simple and good as it sounds, yes, you are right. There’re quite a few steps to get you the free PS3.
1.First you need to apply and be approved for a Sony Card;
2.Then you have to choose the HDTV you want to buy, from their approved list. So you can’t just go and buy their cheapest model and expect them to throw in the console;
3.You need to purchase the TV through Sony’s website; The downside of this is that you pay full retail on your purchase.
4.You have to hurry because the promotion is only available until December 31st 2007.
You might also appreciate that there’s no interest financing with the Sony Card for a full year.

Two bubble dragons were introduced in 1986 in BUBBLE BOBBLE’s release, Bub and Bob, and the new play mechanics, with players defeating enemies by getting them in bubbles and then popping them.
Although the puzzle-action game can be beaten by clearing 100 rounds, it still has some secret elements to get a real ending in single-player mode. These elements are somehow the most impressive part in this game. Each secret round has different air currents that are invisible, so bubbles rise with unpredictable patterns.
It is quite a fun game to play as players are forced to understand and use all these different patterns.

It seems now is common to see PS3 owners shatter their dreams by announcing the delay of video games, and this is not going to change in 2008.
It seems the revolutionary platform which is expected by everyone is not coming out any time soon, like everyone believed, but rather in the fall of next year at the earliest. Sure nothing official has declared, but considering the demo announced for this fall never came out and Three Speech, SCEA’s unofficial blog, said the game would come out in September or October this year (2008), we are convinced that it is impossible we could play this Little Big Planet this spring.

Getting many Wiis for Christmas is a real joy and, there’s a real problem for retailers all over the country that people are so desperate for the Nintendo machine that you have no idea what they are going to do.
So I think I can understand why some Best Buy shops avoid displaying or announcing the newly launched Nintendo Wiis. The General Manager Dave Wolf at a Best Buy near Baltimore, said that he didn’t display any Wii in the shop, in stead employees walk around and tell people they have then in stock. This way the could avoid mob scenes.

Good news for fans of Ryu Hayabusa who cant wait until the end of next year to play Ninja Gaiden 2 on the Xbox 360. Next March, the stealth assassin will come to the DS.
Although it might look not good on a next generation console, Ninjia Gaiden Dragon Sword promises to be a memorable adventure. According to guys at Team Ninjia, Ryu will bring many incredible moves to Nintendo’s handheld, including the Izuna Drop and Cicada Slash as well a a lot of Nimpo magic.
In this game, players have to do many tapping and slashing so as to win. The only expectation I have for this game is that they would make the settings easier.
